Guardians of the Peak

A vision of reverence and flame.  Guardians of the Peak immortalizes Picacho under a sky alive with color and creation. Three gilded saguaros rise like sentinels against the molten horizon, their silhouettes etched in gold as they stand watch over sacred ground.

This piece captures the spirit of becoming, the sense of awe that shaped my earliest years as an artist. Here, the desert is not barren but breathing; its light moves like memory, its guardians rooted in silence and endurance. Every pour, every vein of copper and blue, speaks of transformation, the moment I began to see the Sonoran not just as home, but as a mirror of my own awakening.
