Desert Allegiance

An ode to the sun-soaked heart of Arizona, Desert Allegiance stands as both tribute and transformation, the state flag reborn through molten light and texture. The saguaro rises at center, a sentinel between realms, dividing color and form as if pledging loyalty to both earth and sky.

Gold rays blaze across a field of copper and deep indigo, echoing the legacy of the land that shaped me, a place of heat, heritage, and becoming. Painted in the earliest chapter of my journey, this piece marked my allegiance to the creative fire itself — to the desert that raised me and the spirit that continues to speak through light.
