The moon pulls at every ocean — and at every soul.
Here, a lunar body rises immense and luminous, its textured surface veined with violet and silver. Above it, cascades of cosmic pinks drift downward like stardust rain, while below, the water reflects the pull, rippling with marbled currents, streaked with light. The entire piece hums with rhythm: ebb and flow, inhale and exhale, the reminder that all life moves to the same celestial beat.
“Intrinsic Tides” was my meditation on alignment — on how much of our becoming is guided by forces we cannot see, yet always feel. I leaned into unfamiliar colors here, letting vibrant magentas and purples take up space in my palette, unafraid to make the lunar pull both gentle and fierce. The work asked me to trust the process of flow, to let gravity paint as much as my own hands.
This painting is for the soul learning to surrender to their own cycles. To honor the moments of expansion, the retreats into stillness, and the quiet truth that both are necessary. Just as the moon calls the tides, your spirit will always find its rhythm again.
